June 25, 2008 Posted by RobertIn this Season of Mediocrity, the Rangers have given us plenty to cheer about (Josh Hamilton, for example) and plenty to jeer about (starting pitching – is there an echo in here?). Put something else in the win column – Texas clinched at least a share of the Silver Boot by beating Roy Oswalt tonight. Josh Hamilton didn’t even play and trade bait Max Ramirez hit a home run. Even more amazing was that Scott Feldman didn’t suck. The question is, can the Rangers win the Boot outright and get to 2 games over .500 for the first time this season? It won’t be their first opportunity, that’s for sure.
